Pacific Beach and Moclips - Pacific Beach, WA is a small beach community one mile north of Seabrook and 18 miles north of Ocean Shores with a population of less then 500 people. Pacific Beach State Park is a 10-acre camping park with 2,300 feet of ocean shoreline with brisky fresh area, salty mist and incredible views. Moclips, WA is just up the road from Pacific Beach. The whole 35 mile coastal area is called North Beach and it's as if time passed it by. Some of the most dramatic and untouched coastline and beaches on the West Coast are in North Beach. Things are slow here and the focus is less on commercial flash and more on the natural beauty of the environment. The miles of flat sandy beaches are perfect for Razor clamming, bird watching, kite flying, surf fishing, horseback riding, beach combing, castle building and more. The Wacky Warehouse in Pacific Beach is good for $1 squeaky seagulls and orcas.
Ocean Shores - is about 17 miles south of Seabrook and is a funky sort of town. It was created in 1960 as a resort town, and it never really quite got finished. It's an odd collection of hotels, art and gift shops, restaurants, both old and new. Many festivals are held here that draw thousands of tourists. Aberdeen - is about 30 miles east of Seabrook and is another town that had its heyday in the big logging and fishing eras. It’s home to the bigger stores like Safeway, Home Depot and (gasp) WalMart. Generally, it takes 45 minutes to drive to Aberdeen.

Olympic National Forest – Olympic National Forest is located on the Olympic Peninsula with the Pacific Ocean to the west, the Strait of Juan de Fuca to the north and Puget Sound to the east. The Forest surrounds much of the Olympic National Park. It includes a temperate rainforest, a radiating mountain range, large lowland lakes, wild rushing rivers, tidelands and saltwater beaches.
Lake Quinault Lodge – A 30 minute drive from Seabrook, this is a historic and lovely old lodge that has an excellent restaurant (great sweet potato fries!) and is a wonderful spot to take in the natural beauty of the area.
Westport and Grayland, 45 minutes away by car or a 20 minute ferry ride from Ocean Shores. Visit cranberry bogs in Grayland. Westport Maritime Museum is a wonderful place to learn about the history of boating in our area. Westport has a local deep sea fishing company for those looking to make the catch. Other local attractions include bird watching and whale watching charters. Go surfing: Westport is among the best surfing spots on the Washington coast. Grays Harbor Lighthouse is a hidden historic relic among the trees and a wonderful scene to explore. Boat watching at the marina is a nice way to spend an afternoon. Walk the piers and enjoy the shops. Have a fresh seafood lunch right off the boats and do a little swimming and beachcombing on warmer days.

The Ocean Shores Library is a great resource! You can get a free library card, and then check out two movies per day. There are 1145 videos and DVDs to choose from. Ocean Shores Interpretive Center is a great place to learn about the natural environment and history in and around Ocean Shores. There’s a fun kid’s section and lots of interesting displays.
Westport Maritime Museum – A great old building that used to house the Coast Guard and now is a museum.
Polson Museum – a 6,500 sq ft mansion that now holds a museum of the logging history and area history from the early 1900’s.
